Pastor Christopher Foster has been described as transparent, captivating, and powerful. He combines the power of timely biblical truths with a relevant presentation that inspires all who hear. Christopher Foster graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a degree in Mass Communications after 3 years of study and Fuller Theological Seminary with a Master’s Degree in Theology. He has served in various capacities for the California District Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World (PAW); including Teen Director, Northern Region Chairperson, Vice President, President, and Program Coordinator. Pastor Foster was baptized in Jesus name and later received the gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday, May 17, 1992.
His spiritual foundation was laid at Apostolic Faith Home Assembly in Los Angeles, CA under the leadership of the late Suffragan Bishop G. Grady Benton. Under the dynamic leadership of Suffragan Bishop K.R. Woods, Christopher served for several years as Youth Pastor and Associate Pastor of Covenant Church in Berkeley, California. Pastor Chris is the founder and Lead Pastor of The Rock Church in Pittsburg, CA. He is a highly sought after speaker and has been featured in such renowned publications as the Christian Outlook. He inspires youth all over the United States and Canada as a Senior Leader of “Challenge Day”, a non-profit organization that was featured on the Oprah Winfrey Show. Christopher was also one of the facilitators for the 2010 MTV series “If You Really Knew Me”, recognized for its exceptional work in helping high school teens break down the walls that divide, propelling youths to realize the life of their dreams. Pastor Chris has embraced a high calling in Christ Jesus. With God’s help and the love and support of his lovely wife, Nakia, daughter Brooklyn, and son Christopher II, he will continue to inspire this generation and beyond to become true worshipers whom the Father is seeking in this final hour, prior to the return of Jesus Christ.
